Donald Wandrei (1908-1987) is perhaps best remembered as an author of imperishable weird tales; as a co-founder with August Derleth of Arkham House; and as a friend and protégé of H. P. Lovecraft. But from an early age he also showed himself to be a superb and sensitive poet.

In his centennial year, we are proud to release this magnificent collection, assembling all the poems which appeared in previous collections of his poetry, together with recently discovered works in both verse and prose-poetry.
